Arcoiris (ahr-kohee-rees) means rainbow in Spanish. Rainbows are a universal symbol of rejuvenation and new beginnings. Through Arcoiris, we bring new beginnings to vintage textiles that are often forgotten. In 2022, I read a book called "Signs: The Secret Language of the Universe" by Laura Lynne Jackson. As we learn to ask for and recognize signs from the other side, we will start to find meaning where before there was only confusion, and see light in the darkness. We may decide to change paths, push toward love, pursue joy, and engage with life in a whole new way. I begged for a sign for months and got absolutely nada. Suddenly on a work trip to Nashville, I saw four rainbows in three days. Since then, rainbows are seemingly everywhere constantly reminding me of the beauty in constant rebirth, life shifts, and ever-present growth.
