¡Hola! I'm Kat!

Born into a fiercely creative and strong family, I quickly found my passion for fashion and the arts. Style, travel, and interior design are an essential part of the identity. I grew up surrounded by lots of antiques, beautiful clothing, and extremely strong, well-traveled women. One theme that I constantly come back to is the celebration of pieces that are made with immense craft and detail like the iconic denim fabric, quilts made by skilled artisans, and antiques that stand the test of time. We aim to transform bespoke, heirloom textiles into a piece of luxe, wearable art that is authentic, sustainable, and continues to celebrate the magic of the maker. I hope to give you one-of-a-kind pieces made with hours of love, sustainably sourced materials, and a unique quality in their core. I am extremely passionate about creating pieces that will remain in your wardrobe far beyond a single season of wear.

All of that said, I cut up one of my grandmothers quilts in 2018 and sewed it on a vintage, Gap Kids denim jacket. To date, that is the piece in my wardrobe that I have received the most compliments on. People went nuts asking me to make them one, but one quilt only went so far. 5 years later and countless requests for personal jackets, Arcoiris was born.

I went to the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs) and majored in Fashion Merchandising. I live in Charleston, South Carolina where everything Arcoiris is handcrafted. I love to practice yoga, walk, cook, sew, and garden in my tiny yard.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to create something for you.
